I have been involved with the sport of rallying since 1967.
Guess that makes me old now but I still enjoy competing and just being involved.
Over the years I have derived a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment
heartache and tears all rolled into one.
But I would not change a thing.
I have competed in everything from club motorkanas to World Championship
rallies and even classic rallies.
I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time to have the opportunity
to do Rally Australia in 1988.
From there I was able to secure a major sponsor for about 5 years.
This enabled me to continue to upgrade my rally car and compete in all
the top events in Australia.
I also went overseas and competed in Rally New Zealand on two occasions this
along with competing in Rally Australia 14 times
brought my WRC events tally up to 16 in total.
I spent a season competing in the Malaysian Rally Championship in 1995.
Over the years I travelled to the East Coast of Australia to compete
in a number of Australian Rally Championship events, including three times in
Rally of Canberra.
During my time of competing in Rally Australia
I managed to achieve several top 20 placings and in fact
even a couple of top ten stage times..they were the days
(must have been a bit younger then).
With this web site I hope to provide some useful information
and resources to the rally community and also
the prospective rally community.
